Concealed body specified for Switch F5940 and F5940/1 external thermostatic shower mixers. The wall preparation must match the exact selected assembly.

Dimensions and preparation

G½ connections; 150 mm outside connection centres; 182 mm overall width. The drawing states MIN 60 / MAX 90 mm: use this dimensioned range, checking the revision, rather than treating 90 mm as an additional tolerance.

Selecting external trim

The price is for the concealed body with the stated code. External trim with controls and finish is sold separately. Select only trim for which FIMA expressly specifies this body, checking the version and revision. Products from the same collection are not automatically interchangeable. This body has no finish selection or separate F1420 handle option; any such choices belong to the external trim.

Installation

Have a qualified installer check the layout. Follow orientation, inlet and outlet markings, and MIN/MAX references against the finished wall, allowing for tiles and adhesive. Secure the body, follow the manual’s flushing and leak-test procedure, and retain protective covers until the external trim is fitted. The attached manual provides code-specific connection layouts and illustrated installation steps.
